The ERNCIP Policy Group represents the interests of the stakeholders in order to support the development of a regulatory framework to run ERNCIP in a trusted and regulated manner (including both the Inventory and the Thematic Areas).
The group has the specific competence of developing policy and rules for the projectís management and for the governance and it also helps the stakeholders in understanding and interpreting the documents that constitute the regulatory framework of the ERNCIP.
in 2011, after consultations with the Legal Departments of the Stakeholders, ERNCIP's Policy Group has issued the final version of the Preliminary Workflow. On the 12th of September 2012, the ERNCIP Policy Group, after a year long work and following the path established by the "Preliminary workflow proposal", distributed the final version of the ERNCIP Thematic Group Membership Agreement, document that has been signed by all the Members participating in the ERNCIP Thematic Groups.
