Open Source Intelligence Tools in Law Enforcement

In its third consecutive year, the GlobeSec unit of the Institute for the Protection and Security of the Citizen, together with DG Home Affairs, hosts the workshop 'Open Source Intelligence Tools in Law Enforcement.

The main objective of the workshop is to encourage the exchange of technical knowledge and best practices between European law enforcement authorities.

The event privileges a participative approach built around presentations given by experts working in the field of Open Source Intelligence OSINT.

So far over 45 participants from all over Europe have registered, which is the highest number of professionals taking part so far.

The organisers are pleased to welcome law enforcement officials from the following Member States of the EU:
Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy,
Romania, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom. In addition the following international organisations will be represented: European Commission, Europol, Frontex, International Atomic Energy Agency.

The broad participation from across Europe will once again provide a forum to learn from each other and to expand the personal network of attending professionals.
