GlobeSec addresses the multi-faceted and complex problems related to the EU policies it supports through supplementing its in-house capabilities and capacities as well as through developing the needed underpinning research and technological developments, by involving the wider EU R&D Community. The Unit achieves this by participating in the relevant instruments of the 7^th framework programme including:
