The mission of the Unit "Scientific Support to Financial Analysis" is to improve European economic and financial governance and to contribute to the reform of the European system by scientific research. The unit assesses the efficiency and effectiveness of new and existing proposals for financial regulation, measures the progress of their implementation and develops advanced technologies and models for the assessment of the growth and stability pact.
