SCADA stands for “Supervisory Control  And Data Acquisition”.  The acronym generally refers to Industrial Control systems. SCADA systems are nowadays the core of every Industrial/Critical installation. In the SCADA laboratory, which has been conceived to reproduce typical industrial systems, we study the robustness of these architectures, we test the Industrial Communication protocols in search of new vulnerabilities and we analyze the effects of the discovered vulnerabilities on the reproduced architectures.

Moreover we design and test new ICT countermeasures designed to enforce the security of such systems. Example of projects on which we are working on: vulnerability assessment of SCADA architectures and protocols, Intrusion Detection Systems for Industrial Protocols, light cryptographic schemes for Industrial Communication protocols, resilient SCADA architectures.
