GAP, standard to de-trend Total Factor Productivity in member states

Software developed by the JRC (program GAP) will become the standard to de-trend Total Factor Productivity in member states. The new TFP method will be definitively introduced in the Autumn 2010 forecasting exercise. The new method proposed by the Commission and the software developed by the JRC will become the standard to de-trend TFP in the future for most member states.
