Exploratory research

IPSC's exploratory research programme has the aim to provide IPSC’s scientific staff with the opportunity and the means to carry out research in new and innovative fields related to IPSC’s mission.

This research, which can last maximum 2 years, is not necessarily focused towards responding to our customers needs, rather to anticipate technical/scientific needs of emerging EU policy issues and produce tangible results that could lead to future activities to be included in the mainstream of the institutional work programme.

  • Optimal Sensors Network Geographical  Planning to increase maritime target detection probability and accuracy
  • Vibration Mitigation of structures by State Switching Inducer (continuation)
  • A mobile Radio Spectrum monitoring system
